3 things to know for December 5: Toys for Tots, Zumba Fundraiser, Costa Rica

1. Toys for Tots

The Spanish Honor Society is hosting a Toys for Tots drive.  Please donate new toys by December 12th.  Look for the big red box by the pool hallway.

2. Zumba Fundraiser

Derry High School is hosting a Zumba Fundraiser on December 10th from 10:30 to 11:30 in the High School Aux Gym. We are inviting the whole community to support this year’s prom. There will be dancing, light refreshments, raffle baskets, and most importantly fun. Each ticket comes with a raffle ticket which will be sold December 5-9 during homeroom outside of Mrs. Bushey’s room for $8 or can be bought at the Aux gym the day of the event.

3. Costa Rica

RAINFORESTS, HOT SPRINGS, ZIP-LINING, CROCODILE RIVER SAFARI AND MORE!  All students, teachers, family members and friends are welcome to join Mrs. Schweinberg on an amazing adventure trip to COSTA RICA summer of 2024. (CNN) – More than 30,000 customers in North Carolina remain without power this morning after two substations were damaged by gunfire over the weekend. The power outages are believed

to have been caused by “intentional” and “targeted” attacks on substations that left around 40,000 customers in the dark Saturday, prompting a curfew and emergency declaration.


A founding cast member, Bob embodied the melodies of Sesame Street like no one else, and his performances brought
