3 things to know for December 20: Basketball Now 3-1, Library Closed, HR Meetings

1. Boys Basketball Improves to 3-1

The Trojans (3-1; 1-0) never trailed and extended their win streak to three in a hard fought, physical section opener 64-61 over Keystone Oaks (2-2; 0-1).
Tyson Webb recorded his second double-double in as many games with 19 points & 10 rebounds. For the second straight game, Derry Area had four players score in double figures with Brady Angus 16, Gabe Carbonara 15 and Nate Papuga 12. Jake Watson, playing with a heavy heart, grabbed 8 rebounds.

In a slugfest at Jeannette in the WCCA Shootout, Yough outlasted Derry Area 63-59.  Tyson Webb paced the Trojans with 22 to go along with his team leading 9 rebounds. Gabe Carbonara posted 14 & Nate Papuga with 11.

2. Library Closed

The library remains closed today and tomorrow due to the Christmas Dinner Box project. Students who wish to check out or return books may be sent.

3. Homeroom Meetings

Yearbook Staff will be meeting in E305, and HS Ensemble will be in VMR.
