A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is the tenth prime-time animated television special based on the comic strip Peanuts, created by Charles M. Schulz. The directors of the film are Bill Meledez and Phil Roman. It was originally aired on the CBS network Channel On November 20th, 1973, and won an Emmy award the following year.

I believe that Peanuts is well-known to everyone considering Charlie Brown has been around since October 2nd, 1950. Since it’s been around for awhile, I just believe that most people know who he is. There are many Charlie Brown movies that go along with the seasons and holidays, so since Thanksgiving is coming up, it was definitely going to be chosen.

The movie starts with a girl named Peppermint Patty and some of her friends calling Charlie Brown so they can be invited to Charlie Brown’s house for Thanksgiving, even though he wants to go to his grandmother’s for the holiday.

I really love the Charlie Brown Specials because they are always so cute and wholesome in my opinion. I feel like it’s for any age to watch no matter how old or how young. I admit that I love the Peanuts movies; they are so heartwarming and the art style is very unique. For that reason, I would recommend watching the other Charlie Brown movies with friends or family as well.
