The 31 year old singer/songwriter Mitski started her music career in 2012. She has 5 studio albums, one of them is titled “ Be The Cowboy.”  The album titled “Be The Cowboy” was released on August 17th 2018. The run time album is 32:28 long.

 Mitskiś 2016 album titled ¨Puberty 2¨ was a very sad sounding album with a lot of instrumental sounds during the album. But with “To Be the cowboy,” there is a lot less instrumental use and we get to hear her vocals a lot more through out the album.

I really enjoyed listening to this album. Mitski has a very distinctive music style and voice, I think that is one of the reasons why I like the album a lot and for good reasons. The genre of music on this album is under Indie rock, Pop music, Pop-punk, and Synth-wave. After listening to her album my top three tracks off the album are titled “Nobody¨, ¨Washing Machine Heart,¨ and ¨A Pearl.¨

Something about this album I wish were different is how long the songs are. Most of the songs are around 1:43-2:50.
