1. Chipotle Fundraiser
There is a Chipotle Fundraiser for the Derry Area High School Class Officers tonight, Wednesday, November 17th from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at the new Chipotle location by Westmoreland Mall. 33% of event sales get donated to the cause. You can order online for pickup using code DBBZPYE or show the flyer located below.
For online orders to count towards the fundraiser, they must be placed for pickup only from the restaurant location of, and during, the hours of the fundraiser. Delivery orders and gift cards do not qualify. $150 minimum event sales required to receive any donation.
2. Officers Meeting
There will be a brief meeting of OFFICERS for French and Spanish Honors Societies during Homeroom in H412, Mrs. Markle’s room
3. Chick-Fil-A Meeting
There will be a Chick-fil-a meeting on Thursday, November 18 4th period through home room.

(WTAE) – The owners of the Boston Red Sox are in “advanced talks” to buy the Pittsburgh Penguins, multiple sources confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4.
A deal with Fenway Sports Group could be finalized this week, the Wall Street Journal first reported Tuesday.
FSG also owns Liverpool Football Club, of the Premier League, and Fenway Park, the home ballpark of the Red Sox. Los Angeles Lakers basketball star LeBron James is a partner in the company.

Freshman Jane Huss was named as this week’s TribLIVE Westmoreland County Girls Athlete of the Week. Huss finished 68th out of 264 girls in 21 minutes, 13 seconds, improving her time of 21:31 from the WPIAL meet, at the PIAA Class 2A cross country championships Nov. 6 on the Parkview Course in Hershey. Huss led the girls team in all nine team races this season and set a home course record of 20:28. Huss set a meet record at the United Invitational in 21:33. Huss finished sixth at WCCA meet, ninth at the TSTCA Championships and 15th at the WPIAL championships.

(CNN) – The cast of “Harry Potter” is coming together for a new special, set to premiere on HBO Max on Jan. 1.
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and many more are expected to take part in “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts,” a special that will “celebrate the unparalleled legacy of the Harry Potter film franchise and its indelible impact on the hearts, minds, and imaginations of families and fans around the world,” according to a release.

(CNN) – As the holiday season approaches and many across the US are setting up their Douglas firs, white pines or spruce trees in the house, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has sent out an alarming warning.
The CPSC took to Twitter Saturday, posting a striking image of a fiery skeleton in a living room decorated for Christmas. Text on the image says, ‘WATER YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE’ and ‘A dry Christmas tree burns faster than newspaper.’
