3 things to know for December 7: Basketball Results, Candy Cane Grams, Locker Rooms

1. Basketball Results

Gabe Carbonara led all scorers with 23 points and collected 8 rebounds as the Trojans (2-1) defeated Mt. Pleasant 62-32 in their home opener. Ethan Frye & Nathan Papuga scored 11 each and Brady Angus chipped in 8. Frye also had 8 rebounds.

The Derry Area Lady Trojans lost to Mt. Pleasant 50-47. The Lady Trojans had balanced scoring with Jane Huss scoring 14, Samantha Gruska 10 and Rachelle Marinchek 9.

The Lady Trojans will tip off another Girls/Boys doubleheader vs. Geibel at 5:00 followed by the Trojans hosting Connellsville on Friday.

2. Candy Cane Grams

Next week Class Officers will be selling Candy Cane Grams during homeroom period. Buy your friends and teachers Candy Canes to spread some holiday cheer. Each Candy Cane costs 50 cents. All Candy Cane Grams will be delivered by a surprise guest on Monday, December 19.

3. Locker Rooms

Attention all students and student-athletes. The lockers rooms will be cleaned and disinfected over the Christmas Holiday. Pease remove all locks and empty all contents before December 22.  This includes the middle school and high school locker rooms, team rooms A and B and the pool locker rooms.
