3 things to know for October 28: Tournament of Bands, WPIAL XC, Yearbooks
1. Tournament of Bands
On October 29th, Your Trojan Marching Band will be competing in the Tournament of Bands State Championships at Mansion Park in Altoona.
2. WPIAL XC
The Derry Area Cross Country teams competed at the WPIAL Championships held at Roadman Park at Cal U. The Derry Area Girls finished 14th out of 39 AA teams, scoring 407 points and averaging 23:46 through their top 5, an improvement of 28 seconds on their average from the same meet last year.
The Boys finished in 26th out of 39 teams and averaged 21:48 through their top 5, a 19 second improvement on their average from this time last year.
3. Yearbooks
The 2023 Derrian (yearbook) will be on sale October 24-28, 2022, for $70. Names will be engraved on all yearbooks purchased at this time. They will be on sale in the F Hallway during homeroom ONLY. Order forms were given to you in homeroom the first week of school. Additional order forms are outside of F312 or in the High School Office
