3 things to know for October 12: Golf Advances, Girls’ Tennis, College Visits

1. Golf Advances

The Trojan golf team advanced to tomorrow’s WPIAL AA Team Finals at Cedarbrook tomorrow. It is the fourth consecutive season that the Trojans have made it into the final top six teams in district 7 of the WPIAL.

2. Girls’ Tennis

Yesterday, the Lady Trojans defeated Quaker Valley 3-2. The team will participate in the semifinals against Yough today.

3. College Visits

The following college representatives will be here next week. Please sign up through the guidance google classroom if you’re interested in meeting with any of them during homeroom. An announcement will be made when the representative is ready and where the visit will be held. Seniors have first seating, followed by Juniors.

Tuesday, Oct 18 – Mount Aloysius College

Wednesday, Oct 19 – Westmoreland County Community College

Thursday, Oct 20 – Gannon University

Friday, Oct 21 – PennWest University – This is an Instant Decision Day – Just bring a copy of your transcripts to the meeting and you could be accepted immediately. You can get a copy of your transcript by emailing or visiting Mrs. Swisher in the Guidance Office.
