1. The class officer’s spaghetti dinner, which will help offset the cost of things like the prom and yearbook, is coming up, and we need pasta! Please take your donations of thin pasta to Mrs. Bushey’s room F312.

2. The away Derry vs. Burrell girl’s volleyball game was held yesterday, at Burrell. Varsity lost, with a super close score of 2-3. Jv took the win with a score of 2-1.

3. Hunter Jurica shot an even par 35 to capture low-medalist honors and Ashton Beighley came in at three-over (38) as the Trojans defeated the Jeannette Jayhawks in golf action yesterday.

Tom Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen, admits she is upset with his decision to come out of retirement.  She says she wants him to be more present in their lives, and now thinks it’s time for her to restart her modeling career.  When asked about the rumors of divorce, she said “I feel very fulfilled, as a mother and a wife.  And now it’s going to be my turn.”

The Derry Area Boys and Girls Cross Country teams both put together huge individual performances in losses to AAA Hempfield and Greater Latrobe. The girls were led by Sophomore Jane Huss breaking her own home course record in 19:59. Becoming only the 3rd girl in Derry Area Cross Country history to go under the 20-minute barrier and the first one to do so in 11 years.
