1. Doherty Hits 2 HRs, Softball Wins

The Lady Trojan softball team defeated Franklin Regional 19-12 Thursday afternoon.  Derry was boosted by Sophia Doherty who went 5-for-6 at the plate.  Doherty singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, homered in the fifth, and homered in the seventh. Izzy DePalma added 4 hits and a walk totaling 5 RBI’s. The Lady Trojans racked up 24 hits in the game.  Doherty, DePalma, Abbey Doperak, Sarah Dettling, Callie Krause, Amelia Sobota, Maizie Legge, and Shelby Glick had multiple hits.  DePalma went 4-for-5 in the win.

2. Girls Sports Interest

Any current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student that has an interest in playing one of the following sports next school year, please sign up in the office: Varsity Girls Soccer, Varsity Girls Wrestling.

3. AP Chemistry

Attention students taking AP Chemistry next year. Please check your school email for an invitation to the AP Summer Google Classroom. A course syllabus, online textbook, and summer work has already been posted. If you would like a hardcopy of the textbook please stop by H-414 to see Mr. Clawson.
