3 things to know for December 15: Basketball Wins, Senior Section, KIND Closet
1. Boys Basketball Wins Home Opener
Derry Area’s energized defense and desire to attack the glass sparked the Trojans’ offense as they defeated Greensburg Salem 72-53.
The unselfish balanced scoring, led by Gabe Carbonara’s 19, was followed by Nate Papuga 17 and Tyson Webb & Brady Angus with 15 each. Webb recorded a double-double with 11 steals.
The team opens section play this Friday as they host Keystone Oaks.

2. Senior Section
Attention Seniors – please make sure to complete the Yearbook Senior Section Information Google Form that Mrs. Battaglia emailed to all of you. If you did not receive the email, please see Mrs. Battaglia. This is due by THIS Friday, December 17!
3. KIND Closet
The KIND Closet needs volunteers this week (December 14, 15, 16, ) from 3:00-5:00 and Friday December 17 from 3:00-6:00. This is a great community service opportunity and a way to give back to your community this holiday season. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Smolleck.
