Movie Review: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

A Christmas tale worth watching again and again.

Movie Review: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Now that thanksgiving has passed, we should be shifting quickly to December and Christmas!

The Grinch (1966)

The short Movie, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a classic movie almost everyone watches during December holidays. The release date of it was December 18, 1966. The film is a duplicate of Dr. Seuss’ book that was published on 1957. The voice actor for the Grinch is Boris Karloff, who also helped narrates and animated the film.

The movie is about this green, little, grouchy man, named the Grinch, who lives on top of a icy mountain with his small dog named Max. The Grinch, who was born with a heart two sizes small, lives near a Town Called “Whoville” with the population of the town being “who people”. The Grinch does not like how the Who people are kind and are celebratory people. He plans that he is going to take the Christmas joy for the Who people in town and steal their Holiday from them.

I always loved this movie even though it’s child genre, but it’s still good for all generations. It gives me this weird fuzzy nostalgia, as if I was still a kid watching the movie again during Christmas time. It’s such a great classic Christmas tale and most movie critics and movie reviews give it a great review. I would recommend watching this Christmas short tale even if you have already seen it. See it again!
